I created the color palette, graphic style, and all printed graphics for the CUNY Advanced Science Research Center’s Illumination Space exhibition. This gallery provides an introduction to the fields of science that are studied within ASRC that is suitable for younger learners.
The energetic patterns are inspired by microscope photography while the jewel-toned color palette is inspired by a large dichroic glass staircase in the center of the building, so the graphic style takes inspiration both from the subject matter and from the location. I also provided art direction to all media within the gallery.
